This track’s full name is “Ventura County Line Surf Rider” and is a fun Tribal Surf Music Guitar Instrumental that’s filled with tribal beats, killer guitar riffs and solo, with special thanks to the SurfRider gang at the Malibu Pier for the vocal chant – “bada-hem-bada-hem-ba-hemde – bada-hem-bada-ohm…..” This is a great surf music instrumental, it needs to be CRANKED, it’s a left over from a surf guitar lesson product done for the JFRocks.com website.. Here’s a clip featuring Dick Dale who is known as the “king of surf guitarl.” He invented instrumental surf music in the 1950′s, not the ’60′s as is commonly stated. He was given the title, “King of Surf Guitar” by fellow surfers. He met Leo Fender, the guitar and amplifier Guru who asked Dale to play his latest creation, the Fender Stratocaster. Leo Fender broke into uncontrolled laughter and disbelief while watching Dale play a right handed guitar upside down and backwards, a style later copied by Jimi Hendrix.

Very low tech PC recording via a Fender Strat, Line 6 Guitar Port, and CoolEdit , as I had just gotten into home recording at the time. Video was produced by Janek Krol.
