Unusual instrumental. My interpretation of “Tell It Like It Is” (Aaron Neville). A real challenge to play trying to emulate Aaron’s unique voice. Not sure I was close at all. Abel
rollinrecordsuk.com It doesn’t get any better than this. What an absolutely stonking instrumental, which I’ve listened to again and again, and I still love it. The Mambas kick ass and play with pure controlled aggression on every recording they do. None of your tea and donuts swing rubbish with this lot, just the real goods which they come up with every time. Whether you dig the band or this killer sound is your choice, but you have to say this recording is way up with the top Ventures tracks.
